..in love with a visit home

I can only be away from Texas for so long before I have to pack up my husband, baby, and everything we own, shove it in a compact car, and drive eight hours through the middle of the night.  Luckily, when we get there we have these beautiful faces greeting us.

Sometimes a visit home with all the beautiful ladies in our life is just what we need.

The Texas fall was just beginning. We spent a lot of time in my mom's backyard drinking coffee, eating lunches, and staring and Owen.

It is confirmed.  Fat cheeks are hereditary.

Do you love this rainbow striped jumper?  I had to put it on my baby immediately.  It brightens up any gloomy day.

While my mom and sisters gushed over Owen, Cody got plenty of time to watch the Rangers in the World Series.  But, let's move right along shall we? (they lost in case you don't follow)

It is 100% guaranteed that my mom can get Owen to take a nap on her.  Something I haven't been able to do since Owen grew out of the newborn stage.  What a precious moment with Marmie and Owen.

Cousins Jackson, Harrison, and Edison came down for a quick visit.  I envisioned a sweet picture of all four boys.  We got this instead.

Edison was the calm in the storm.
